The service or planning fee covers the extensive research, personalized recommendations, and detailed coordination involved in creating a tailored travel experience. It compensates for the time and expertise dedicated to ensuring every aspect of your trip is meticulously planned and managed. This fee also supports our ability to secure the best options and exclusive benefits, delivering a seamless and luxurious travel experience.

  • Why do some itineraries take longer to design?
Some destinations require additional time because we are waiting on confirmations from local suppliers and private experience providers. In certain countries, particularly for remote or highly authentic experiences, bookings are handled manually. This can involve coordinating directly with boutique properties, private guides, specialist drivers, or cultural hosts who may not operate on automated systems. When we design these journeys, we prioritise quality, access, and accuracy over speed, ensuring every element is personally secured and aligned with your expectations.
  • How long does it take to design my itinerary?
Every journey is tailor-made, so timelines depend on the complexity of your trip.

Simple luxury escapes (1–2 destinations): 3–5 working days

Multi-stop journeys or tours: 7–14 working days

Complex, high-season or special-event travel: may require additional sourcing time

We begin designing once your service fee and enquiry form are complete.
The more detailed your preferences, the more refined and efficient the process.
  • Do you only book luxury hotels?

Our focus is premium and luxury travel; however, we understand that every trip is different.
Sometimes the best option is a well-located boutique hotel rather than a traditional five-star property. In other cases, clients already have a specific hotel in mind and simply require us to secure it.
Where preferred partner benefits are available, we will always add them. If there are no added amenities attached to that particular property, we will still ensure the booking is handled correctly, rates are verified, and all details are secured seamlessly on your behalf.
  • What happens if I’m not happy with my itinerary?
    We refine it — together.
The design process is collaborative, and we continue adjusting, refining, and improving your itinerary until it feels right for you. We go back and forth during the proposal stage to ensure the pace, properties, experiences, and overall flow align with your vision.
Your journey isn’t finalised until you’re confident and satisfied with the direction. Once bookings are confirmed, any further changes are subject to supplier terms and availability — but during the design phase, refinement is part of the service.
  • Do you offer flight-only bookings?
    Yes — we do.
A full itinerary is not required in order to book with us. We can arrange flight-only bookings and have access to a range of fare types, including published fares and private fares where available.
In some cases, we are also able to secure flights with deposit options, depending on the airline and fare conditions.
We review routing, fare rules, flexibility, and overall value before ticketing — ensuring everything is secured correctly from the outset.
  • What happens if something goes wrong while I’m travelling?
You will not be left to navigate issues alone. Where applicable, we liaise directly with hotels, airlines, and suppliers to resolve disruptions efficiently. That said, comprehensive travel insurance is essential for all trips.
  • How far in advance should I book?
For the best availability and value:
Europe summer: 6–9 months in advance Festive period & peak islands: 9–12 months Safaris & bucket-list experiences: 12+ months Low season city breaks: 2–4 months Last-minute requests are possible but subject to availability.
  • How far in advance should I book?
    There is no one-size-fits-all rule.
Some trips can be arranged comfortably a few months in advance, while others — particularly peak seasons or high-demand experiences — require earlier planning to secure the best options.

    For example:
European summer and festive periods fill quickly

Safaris and certain island resorts often operate with limited inventory

Some destinations experience peak demand year-round

We always advise based on your chosen destination, travel dates, and expectations. Early planning offers the most choice, but we can also accommodate shorter lead times subject to availability.
